When open answers are stored with the data, the VMx software can extract
selected or all open answers and present them one by one on screen or as
printouts. They may also be included at the end of segment reports.
It is possible to include a neutral "open answer identifier" in the response
file to make it possible to roughly understand from where a certain open
answer comes without naming the person behind the answer.
There is also a search function whereby open answers that contain certain
characters or words in any language, including for example Russian and
Chinese, can be found.
